A Home Visit with Julia’s Family (35:29)

Early ACCESS occupational therapist Patty works with Julia’s mother on ways to support Julia’s communication, positioning, and participation in everyday routines. The family practices using new strategies during the visit and makes plans to use the strategies throughout the week. NOTE: This is the long version of this home visit and illustrates almost the entire visit.

A Mobile Coaching Visit with Chloe and Her Family (58:55)

Afton joins Chloe’s family outside to provide a variety of opportunities for her to walk with her walker (or leave it behind!) Minimal editing has occurred in this video to support your ability to identify the SS-OO-PP-RR Key Indicators and the Family 5Q as these frameworks are used to support the family’s decision making and leadership in the intervention process.  Note how the routines are individualized for Chloe and her family.

A Mobile Coaching Visit with Grayson’s Family (53:57)

Jenny joins Grayson and his family in a mobile coaching visit where he shows off his new stair climbing and communication skills.  Jenny uses the SS-OO-PP-RR coaching framework to guide the family to identify priorities, practice strategies to embed in preferred routines and activities, and to plan next steps.  Matt and Nikki share their thoughts on tele-intervention for service delivery during the COVID pandemic.

A Home Visit with Grayson’s Family (43:42)

Join Nikki, Matt, Grayson and his brother, Jackson, on a home visit with Jenny, his primary coach.  This video, which takes places shortly after his initial IFSP, has minimal editing to illustrate how Jenny uses SS-OO-PP-RR to support Nikki and Matt with Grayson.  Listen as they identify priorities for the session, as Jenny shares information and coaches them during to embed strategies on his identified targets in their preferred routines, and how they develop a joint plan for practice throughout their day.

Home Visit with Lexi, Jackson, and Connor (35:31)

This home visit with Connor and Jackson and their mom, Lexi, has very little editing to provide an opportunity to observe the use of SS-OO-PP-RR by Susie, their primary coach.   A variety of play and story book routines illustrate how Connor and Jackson are expanding their language development while interacting with their mom in activities that she has identified to promote their cooperative play skills.  Note how Susie encourages Lexi to reflect on which strategies she is using and how they are working for her as well as the twins.
